Pelican's newer and larger laptop case is similar to it's little brother the 1490 but is even beefier. As with all of Pelican's cases it's made of high impact, nearly indestructible, corrosion proof plastic. The base is lined with a high density foam and when used with the included laptop sleeve provides a triple layer of protection for your computer. It comes with an inner lid organizer, a laptop sleeve, a removable shoulder strap, a combination lock system and additional grommets for two padlocks. There's also an atmospheric relief valve just in case you throw it out of a plane. Needless to say this thing is ready for some action. Max laptop capacity with sleeve is 16.5" x 13" x 2.75". If you don't use the sleeve you can fit up to 18.87" x 13.12" x 3.81"
